Hiring a website designer can be a very arduous task. There are so many to choose from and they all seem to tell you different things from different places…someone from California, a web design Toronto, etc. While one might quote you $XXX for a site and have a great portfolio, another might quote you $XXXX and have a mediocre looking portfolio. What’s the difference between the two of them? Quite honestly the only differences can sometimes be location and overhead. A designer working out of his or her basement in India versus a design studio in New York city can do the same quality work quite easily. Make sure you shop around and find a company with a good portfolio that matches your budget.
